You can click the three dots icon on top right-hand task panel and click the ‘Show completed’ toggle button to see the completed tasks.

In the left navigation bar, you can find the chat icon. Clicking on it will lead you to the messages section. In Workspace.ai, this section is reserved for all messaging types.

Messages can be of three levels:

• Direct messages and Group chats
• Board level messages
• Workspace topics

Under board-level messages, all the workspaces are listed. You can expand the workspaces to access topic-level messages.

You can create a topic inside a workspace. In a topic, you can create a ‘New message’ whenever you want to initiate a conversation. Other users can express their views through replies to that particular message. Topics can help you convey important information in an organized manner without being flooded with reactions and other messages. 

On the other hand, ‘Chats’ can be of both types, ‘Direct messages’ and ‘Group chats’. You can find users who messaged you directly in direct messages without using any workspace or boards. You can create a group chat or be part of a group chat where people can freely send messages without creating topics.

You can create boards in your workspaces. Boards can be of 4 types, Table, Application, Embed, and Document. To learn more about how tables, applications, documents, and Embed please click the following links:

No, you can not add a non-workspace member to a topic. You must first add the user to your workspace and then add them to a particular topic.

Yes, you can add a non-workspace member to a board as a ‘Guest’ without inviting them into the workspace. However, they will only have ‘view access’ to the board.

No, you can not add a non-workspace member to the dashboard. A dashboard user should be able to access the source table connected to the dashboard. You have to, add the user to your workspace and give the user table access before you add them to the dashboard.

On the left navigation bar, click your profile picture. You can see the option of ‘Download apps’. You can download Workspace.ai on any iOS/Android/Windows device.
